Wake Up Dead Man is my favorite of the three, by a lot. Rian Johnson managed to ease back on the campiness, so that Craig was less Foghorn Leghorn, but also with the rest of the cast, and everything was dialed in perfectly.

Rewatching them all together, I still prefer the tightness of the first mystery, but Wake Up Dead Man is the best "film" by far. I was really sad it wasn't part of the awards conversation.

Speaking of which, my thoughts on this morning's nominations: [link]

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

The NYPL's Library for the Performing Arts has dredged up an archival clip of wee Timothée Chalamet performing in the ballet Romeo & Juliet and posted it to Instagram: [link] 😂 😂 😂

Wasn't sure if I should put this here or in Streaming, but I just watched Brittany Runs A Marathon last night and I thought it was pretty good. I only wish I could get my life moving by, you know, moving, but it was still a good reminder of the importance of a goal, whether it happens like you think it would or not And, I thought it was good that losing weight didn't immediately fix her life.
