There were a couple moments of wonky CGI with the sheep but other than it completely sold the illusion for me. As far as I can tell it from reading online it was all done with "traditional" computer animation.
I will say it was little weird seeing the guy playing the reporter after seeing him as He-Man in the Masters of the Universe trailer immediately before the movie.
Heh, didn't notice that at all. Or maybe I saw different trailers, I saw it a couple weeks ago.
We watched Incredibly Bright Creatures on Netflix and really enjoyed it. Partly because it was filmed just up the coast from us and it was fun to see "our" landscape and coast in a movie. Probably too predictable and sentimental for a lot of people, but I'm finding films too psychologically challenging these days. I suppose I'm turning into my mom who watched Wheel of Fortune every day--appointment TV.
I saw
Backrooms
at the theater Tuesday night. A very weird movie, but worth seeing for Chiwitel Ejiofor's performance alone. It was really good at causing anxiety even when not much was happening.
Oh, I want to see that, Beverly. I didn't know it was out already

We read it for book club and the movie did it justice. It was just a pleasant time with both.
