Probably too predictable and sentimental for a lot of people, but I'm finding films too psychologically challenging these days.
We read it for book club and the movie did it justice. It was just a pleasant time with both.
This was almost the worst time I could have picked to watch "Poor Things" Too hard not to identify. But if I'd gone to the theater, it could have been like the flip side of watching "Ice Castles" with the girls from eighth grade chorus. Not quite as bad as watching that sad-tutor Brendan Fraser movie after the trump re-elect, though. ETA: What was one viewing experience that something in your life...made more awkward than it should be?
