We now live downslope from the gun range where city and county LE qualify and train with various weapons, and still? Less gunfire than we'd grown used to in the old place. Emergency sirens are conspicuous by their absence, as well.

It is big enough for the box, but awkward enough that a lid wouldn't work. Instead we want to put up a curtain because they like their privacy too. Since that is in the Harry Potter bathroom, we were thinking of a brick patterned fabric. Only cats can go to track 9 3/4. I doubt this is something we can find ready made...

I was always terrible at remembering Mother's Day in time to do anything. My sister would always have to remind me. Now I have a smartphone that could remind me, but no need for it anymore. That sucks. I'll be glad when all the advertising hype for it is over.

Last hour at job! Already went to my last meeting. There's a farewell get together after work. I was kind of worried my boss would flake on setting something up. I did manage to do actual work today and I'm all packed. I guess I could take a nap. What could they do?!
