That would be perfect! I was a mile from my office, which was a bike ride or a walk. Now it is 20 miles and really inconvenient.

A look at real estate ads revealed a house a block away from where I was living near the office. Of course I have to get this place on the market and sell it before I can buy another, but that would be ideal.

So another co worker got fired for being stupid.

Titanfall is the big Xbox game that came out, it was street dated and almost everything with Titanfall on it had a streetdate either right before, during, or after the actual game release (there are themed headphones and controls). One item is/was a Xbox Live card, were you get 13 months instead of 12 at the regular price. And it has the Titanfall picture on it.

So, I guess my dumb ex coworker got a call from his dumb friend (who works at another store) and said - hey if you ring these up w/ your employee discount they are free! This was before the street date for this item.

So ex co worker bought FIVE. And then told, basically everyone - hey there are these cards, you can buy them for free! And someone checked to see if it was legit and it turned out that not only was it not legit those prepaid cards weren't supposed to go on sale for a few days.

And so he was fired. And the confiscated the cards. He should have known there was no way that Microsoft was going to give away 13 months of xbox live subscription or allow someone to get 5 1/2 years (roughly) for free.

I think your coworker was fortunate that your employer realized it was stupidity rather than deliberate dishonesty and stopped at firing him and confiscating the cards.

I seem to be developing a huge bruise where my IV was today (more than half the length of the inside of my forearm). Should I be freaking out?

That's normal for me, but I know that my normal isn't the same as other peoples' when it comes to that stuff. If it doesn't feel hot or swollen, then I don't think you need to worry, but I don't really know for sure.

I'm getting new glasses, I forgot to write down the brand so I could find a picture. They are blue frames that kind of fade to brown/gray effect and the sides look like a moasic watchface.

I also found out my left eye tends to drift, which is why when I'm tired I feel like I have double vision so I'm getting a prism in the prescription to compensate.
