Hey, does anyone have a good lemon based dessert recipe that isn't lemon bars that they want to share?

The Moosewood Cookbook has a nice lemon-poppyseed cake recipe.

Or you could roast a chicken stuffed with lemons. But that's not a dessert.

Or you could make a lemon meringue pie. Or some Pisco Sours.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hey, does anyone have a good lemon based dessert recipe that isn't lemon bars that they want to share? I feel like baking this weekend, and I need to use up some lemons.

I've got a lemon cupcake recipe around here somewhere.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought this looked pretty good: [link]

I just looked at my phone and found a voicemail from my mother asking if I want to go to some exhibit with them, in lieu of family dinner. Well, not really. Because I was planning on not leaving the house much tomorrow! Which seems like not a good reason. Ah well. I'll go, and I'll like it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ooh, that does look good. It may be more ambitious than I am looking for this weekend, but I will definitely save it.

Cupcakes! Poppyseeds! YUm

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dilbert writer shows he's an ass:

I realize I might take some heat for lumping women, children and the mentally handicapped in the same group. So I want to be perfectly clear. I'm not saying women are similar to either group. I'm saying that a man's best strategy for dealing with each group is disturbingly similar.

Wow.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

the folks commenting on his site seems to think this is a joke. I'm not sure.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I've seen some other excerpts. It's not pretty.

Yeah, I saw some more of it earlier, and just....couldn't.
