Has anyone ever heard of that lineup of the Four Horsemen before?
Wikipedia has Conquest, War, Famine, and Death, and says that replacing Conquest with Pestilence is a variation

Never heard of that before! Still don't see any difference between War and Conquest. I guess I'll let them get away with it, but I still think they're ALL WRONG.
Well, you can have War without meaning to take over the country, and you can Conquer without a war.
mmmmaybe so, but I don't see how Conquering without a war is particularly apocalyptic. Doesn't hold a candle to, say, plague of locusts, or bubonic plague. Anything with "plague" in the name trumps a bloodless takeover, imho.
War, Famine, Death and Pestilence. Those are the horsies. I don't like people messing with my horses.
Ah hell. Loki just discovered he can get to the top of the bookcase. Fuuuuck.
You need pestilence as one of the four. Conquest is dumb.
Hey, does anyone have a good lemon based dessert recipe that isn't lemon bars that they want to share? I feel like baking this weekend, and I need to use up some lemons.
My old FAC counted one of the horses as False Religion. (Guy riding around on a white horse... Just like Jesus! And Fabio.) I think it's a foolish question because they're not explicitly named anywhere. I do think Pestilence is a pretty obvious inclusion, but there's room for disagreement on others.
Reasonably crappy, bon. But glad as hell the week is over.
Wow. This writeup of Elizabeth Taylor is remarkably cantankerous. How was she not a sex symbol?
