Ann, that's a ferret.

I've known at least one military person to advocate a military coup (to put Bush in office) as the solution to the 2000 election mess. This was after he advocated a military coup to make Ross Perot president in 1992. So the idea that some military personnel would support a military coup against Obama doesn't surprise me. (Note: No attempts to define "some" here. It may be a handful of crackpots, it may be more, I won't offer an opinion.)

But that Newsmax essay, as reprinted, goes well beyond saying, "A military coup is possible," and actually advocates such a thing.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Kat, given how long it is, seeing it again would be a heck of an investment. There's definitely a lot of unlikability to go around, although, for most of the characters, it was a realistic unlikability, IMO. I know people who would make many of those choices.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Meanwhile, CNN is trying to take the NYT's "Women's Issues: Who Needs Relevance?" crown away with their stunning expose on Why Women Have Sex:

Well, I don't know why women have sex, but teenage girls "do it" to keep their boyfriends, because they have low self-esteem, or due to poor relationships with their fathers.

I can't imagine much would change just because they become so-called adults.

Hold the phone - SOMETIMES SEX IS GOOD AND OTHER TIMES IT IS NOT, DEPENDING ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES. I cannot wait to see the groundbreaking scientific research behind this momentous discovery. Truly, this deserves a Nobel Prize.

Did someone get a research grant for this? Seriously? "Why do the wimmens have sex?"?!?

Answer: gotta have something to do when we stop shopping and painting our nails. Tee hee.

I DID NOT KNOW THAT! Wow, I'm grateful to those researchers. I feel so enlightened now.

Not enough @@ on the planet. I could write that article easy.

Why Women Have Sex

Women have sex because we like orgasms with people we find attractive.

The End.

I didn't realize just how bad Obama has messed up the country in his seven months of office until I read that Newsmax article. He's messed up the economy, raised taxes, nationalized all sorts of businesses, is bungling the situation in Afghanistan that was going so smoothly, dismantled our missile defense shield, and we are now running a deficit.

we are now running a deficit.

Seriously? Only 9 months after he inherited the largest budget surplus in history???

...oh, wait.
