We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Also, Brad Dourif still does creepy like nobody's business.

Golly, yes.

I am pleased that May wasn't the evil mole (she's clearly been reporting to Fury, not bad guys), but on the other hand, that would have been a nice HS moment.

So far I haven't been really truly surprised by hardly anything on this show. At least not in a good way.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I wish somebody would have stopped and reflected that they'd killed an absolutely helpless paralyzed guy who was set up by the Clairvoyant. Who was clearly aware of what was happening to him.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I thought that did come up, Theodosia. And then the other plot stuff moved away from it.

Everyone was fairly horrified, even if it was not explicitly stated why.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I took the horror as more related to the fact that Ward had shot a man in cold blood who posed him no immediate threat, regardless of whether he was paralyzed or not.

All is well that ends in pizza.

They built up the catatonic guy pretty well, saying SHIELD originally thought he could manipulate people.

When Ward first shot the guy, I thought for a moment he had committed suicide by mental push.

Then I thought maybe ward had been mentally compromised by the clairvoyant.

And we still don't know that he wasn't. Or, heck, *he's* the Clairvoyant.

I thought the end of the episode pretty well established Victoria Hand as the Clairvoyant. Who has more security access than she does, besides maybe Fury?

I thought she was too obvious--but they won't make a main character the villain, not Disney.

Yes, like that time Elsa wasn't the villain of Frozen.

(Sure, there was someone else, but I don't buy the Disney argument. Especially since I think this is in line with the Victoria Hand in the comics, which is why people had pegged her.)
