Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

More Natter --

Connie: Romney is in Utah for the next few days to hold a few more thousands-of-dollars-a-plate events. When he needs money he comes to Utah. And they fork it over.

erikaj: Sometimes I think they are the world's palest gang.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

ita ! in Boxed Set:

TV physics clearly indicates that planes are propelled through the air by constant conversion of fuel to thrust, and if that stops, they plummet like a stone. Also, if pilots stop paying attention (like, lose consciousness), this also causes gravity to trump everything and suck the planes directly and immediately downwards, with a spiral at best, but more typically lead weight plummeting from great height behaviour.

In Natter:

Jesse: I still don't care about baseball.

DavidS: Well, you better learn to fake it if you're dating in Boston.

Gudanov: And you should pretend to care about baseball too.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

amych: We could probably come up with a whole thread of egg-separating tricks, but I'm not proposing it because a) bureaucracy and b) clearly, CLEARLY, belongs in Minearverse.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

From Bitches:

Shir: Gravity was trying to hide my sticky-notes on the floor, behind the computer at work. Gravity's a bitch.

Sue: Better watch what you say, Shir, Gravity will take you down.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

During the Presidential Debates, in Natter

Nora: IF ONLY THERE WAS SOME WAY THAT WOMEN COULD TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR LIVES AND MAKE DECISIONS FOR THEMSELVES SO THAT UNWANTED PREGNANCIES COULD BE AVOIDED.

Jessica: Nora, you seem angry. That time of the month?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

In Natter:

Consuela: Me, I've been baking like a fiend.

billytea:

  • Heat brimstone-fuelled oven to "Hellfire".

  • Pour devil's food cake into nonstick pan.

  • Sprinkle with desecrated coconut.

  • Bake for 1 hour.

  • AND THEN MY CAKE SHALL RISE!!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sophia Brooks: Is there ever a time when you can use decimate properly?

Jessica: Florida's policies regarding ex-felons have decimated their voter registrations?
