Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

"I suspect that even if they weren't naked, it would still be gay." - Fay, re: The Gordian Knot of Men

Err, not to be overly claimfull, but this one was mine, not Fay's.

I'm not sure if Fay ever got to see the Gordian Knot of Naked Men. I would, however, have loved to see her reaction to that.

While I totally love this quote, it was actually mis-written, and should have been "stuff" not "Steph." We like Steph. She does not need to be aflame. But it can remain if it's funnier.

Oh, good. It makes MUCH more sense that way. I was starting to wonder if I'd been way more drunk than I'd realized, not remembering a need to set Steph on fire!! STUFF on fire is much more understandable.

heh, I don't mind. After all, I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body, I'm already EN FUEGO!!!!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Dave, but which Dave?

'Twas I.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hee. There was a whole discussion about that quote at some point in the HS where I had to gently convince everyone that Vortex was not flammable material, except in the case where she was!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

In Natter:

tommyrot: Do you suppose anyone has ever tried to commit suicide by sticking their head in an electric oven?

Gudanov: You've met the Internet, haven't you?

Polter-Cow - Jun 24, 2009 1:09:30 pm PDT #116 of 1329
What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Natter:

Kathy A: I heard on the tv this morning that the producers might be making it Jon and Kate Plus Nine, and include Jon's new girlfriend in the show.

tommyrot: Or maybe let Kate pick the title: "Jon and Kate Plus Eight Plus That Whore Jon Is Sleeping With Now."

Steph L. - Jun 24, 2009 3:06:07 pm PDT #117 of 1329
Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Also Natter:

Polter-Cow: I could have been on that new Arranged Marriage show.

connie neil: I hope you just mean theoretically.

Polter-Cow: I do.

Oh shit, I didn't just accidentally marry you, did I?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

sarameg: There was a dead roach on the floor when I left this morning. Now there is just a head. Means one of the gatos ate the rest most likely. Blearg.

Theodosia: They're awarding you the head and antennas, sarameg -- it's a sign of respect.

That was me. (And I'm still waiting for an answer.)
