In random book news, I'm reading In Cold Blood for the first time, and he does this weird thing with short phrases (even single words) in quotes, which I assume means they are out of interviews, but the rest of the sentence is his own, but it does make me feel like I'm reading Zagat reviews sometimes. Personally, I've always considered gizzards to be more exercise equipment for the jaws than food (my mother used to fry them for dinner ... I went hungry those nights).
