Dean: (to his Dad's voicemail) Dad, I know I've left messages before. I don't even know if you get 'em. But I'm with Sam and we're in Lawrence and there's something in our old house. I don't know if it's the thing that killed Mom or not... but... (tears up) I don't know what to do. So whatever you're doing, if you could get here... please. I need your help, Dad.

Sam: I didn't. I still want to find dad... and you're still a pain in the ass. But Jess and mom - they're both gone. Dad is God knows where. You and me, we're all that's left. So, uh, if we're gonna see this through, we're gonna do it together.
Dean: Hold me, Sam. That was beautiful.

- I need your help, Dad: Is this the first single manly tear? I can see it all so clearly when I read it. Lovely.
- I don't do shorts: Made all the funnier by when he actually does
- She wanted me to be brave: Dean! With kids! Who knew? And Kripking the muteness.
- Hold me, Sam: Sure, he leaves a lot. But he comes back.

family business: It's the show's mission statement!
this killer truck: Sam's life sure has changed
innocence: Sam's life sure has changed
little funny: Although it ended up being the other way around

The second one was tough, but I'm going to go with amateur, because the first one really needs Dean's reaction.
Bikini inspector--Sam and Dean show, and doesn't have a "bitch" in it.
Vegas! Because Vegas!, plus Dean being avoidy.
Bracket #2:
Dead Fish! Brothers working towards the same goal, with very different methods.
Kill you all!: Rule Number 1: You don't mess with Sammy.

Yorkie--came out of left field, quick, disarming, funny
Don't cuss at me!--Missouri knew Dean needed sharp, not soft
White meat--Bravado overlying true heroism
Touchy-feely--amazed he could get out a tongue-twisty sentence as nervous as he was

Slaughter--Utterly Dean, bare to the walls of who he is
Kill you all--again, Dean's raison d'etre
Chick flick, bitch, jerk--laying series groundwork here
Metallica--character foundation

Saving people--This one is hard, because both are cornerstones
killer truck--great line, a real standout in a bad ep
squeal--mostly because I'm not fond of the other line, for multiple reasons
haunt--I sneer in the face of death--oh Dean!

I need your help, Dad--the first time we see how deep the cracks in Dean's armor are
Shorts--'cause, funny!
