Okay, I made an effort to vote differently in the 1st bracket, but I gotta go with ita's choices for all the same reasons.

Will an ibid here work?

Season 1, Round 1, Bracket #3:

Dean: I think he wants us to pick up where he left off. You know, saving people, hunting things—the family business.

vs

Sam: We got work to do.

Kat: Why would anyone want a job like that?
Sam: I had a crappy guidance counselor.

vs

Sam: I miss conversations that didn't start with "this killer truck."

Sam: I wish I could have that kind of innocence.
Dean: If it means anything, sometimes I wish you could, too.

vs

Dean: We talkin', like, misdemeanor kind of trouble, or uh, squeal like a pig trouble?

Dean: You better take care of that car. Or, I swear, I'll haunt your ass.
Sam: I don't think that's funny.
Dean: Oh come on, it's a little funny

Dean: I'd take our family over normal any day.

Ibid worked just because P/C had voted my way too (I RULE), ehab, but it's simplest if you spell it out again, just in case.

Bracket #3:

• Family business: It's the other reason we're here, right?
• Crappy guidance counselor: hard pick, because of how much I hate Route 666, but I feel Sam's pain
• That kind of innocence: Note Dean doesn't wish it for himself. That ship has sailed. Beats his insouciance
• Our family over normal: Oh, DEAN.

Season 1, Round 1, Bracket 2

• evil sons of bitches: So. very. fierce.
• hurt my brother: A tough one! But I love Dean here.
• bitch/jerk: Classic for a reason.
• bad person: Sammy's deadpan! Hee.

Season 1, Round 1, Bracket #4:

Dean: (to his Dad's voicemail) Dad, I know I've left messages before. I don't even know if you get 'em. But I'm with Sam and we're in Lawrence and there's something in our old house. I don't know if it's the thing that killed Mom or not... but... (tears up) I don't know what to do. So whatever you're doing, if you could get here... please. I need your help, Dad.

Dean: Whoa, easy, tiger.

Dean: Vampires! Gets funnier every time I hear it...

Dean: Oh sweetheart, I don't do shorts

Dean: But see, my mom - I know she wanted me to be brave. I think about that every day. And I do my best to be brave.

• I need your help, Dad: Is this the first single manly tear? I can see it all so clearly when I read it. Lovely.
• I don't do shorts: Made all the funnier by when he actually does
• She wanted me to be brave: Dean! With kids! Who knew? And Kripking the muteness.
• Hold me, Sam: Sure, he leaves a lot. But he comes back.

Bracket #3

family business: It's the show's mission statement!
this killer truck: Sam's life sure has changed
innocence: Sam's life sure has changed
little funny: Although it ended up being the other way around

The second one was tough, but I'm going to go with amateur, because the first one really needs Dean's reaction.
