Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

Because books.

Yeah, he's not going there. Conquests, sure, but more likely the conversations about demon blood and recriminations and personal family business.

Fandom can be silly. Which is spelled C-R-A-X-Y.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We failed in our welcome wagon mission if no one recced that, ita. Oops.

Failed spectacularly.

Okay, I am putting together a starter kit. Not that they are all of my recs but at least everything I remembered to tag. Nothing says, mmm Saturday like pulling together some Winchester recs.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

we already know Wincest isn't canon because of their reaction when they found about it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aha! But this means they started sleeping together after that episode.

No, I don't get it. I'm reading episode reactions that are otherwise thoughtful, even when I disagree in parts and then whammo! Cited as evidence.

See, between this and the erotically codependent line, it's totally blessed by TPTB.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm reading on people's LJs that Crowley's comment "the things I've heard" about his bug in the car means that he's overheard the boys having sex. So we have (more) canon Wincest.

I didn't think it was canon if it was so open to interpretation. Crowley follows it up immediately with something that he heard. It could have been that Crowley was shocked by Sam's farting. I think that's only a Jared thing on the blooper reel, but still.

It's not Spike:"Well I guess I don't have to worry about that cause Angel and me have never been intimate...except that one..."

I'm not against wincest. But if something is claimed as canon, I want it to be legitimately canon. Man that fills me with self-righteous indignation. I don't care if you fool around with your brother, but by God don't fool around with the laws of canon.

CWfT is terrific! Thanks for linking, ita.

I might not agree with it (and, actually, I don't because I know exactly the journal entry and I was a little agog at it) but I will totally defend people's right to see canon however they choose in their own journals.

If you're looking for Wincest and have been seeing it in the show for a while, this season adds a lot. In a wink and a nudge way, but if that is an integral part of the show for you...

Dean calls Sam gassy in Yellow Fever, so that at least is something for Crowley to have heard.

Anyway, Dean/Castiel is totally going to be canon before Wincest. I mean, come on. It's SO obvious.

Thanks for linking, ita.

I am obviously the nice one.

I'm in the middle of Dean/Castiel written by someone obsessed with the idea of Castiel's vessel, which is interesting, except it was before the Jimmy Novak reveal, so it's all Jossed and confusing. Also, she keeps getting actual canon wrong. And yet I read. Why can't I make a break of it and maybe stumble onto another gem?

See, me, I believe in a one true canon. No one actually said they slept together, so it's nothing but wish fulfillment to pretend otherwise--cop to that. It's not even a strong implication.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am obviously the nice one.

You know that doesn't work even here, where msbelle is not, don't you?

This.

Now the "erotically co-dependent" I view as canon and people can then interpret the narrator or whatever about it, but it doesn't change it from being said.
