Hey, are we placing bets on whether or not Death is going to be an attractive (probably brunette) woman? Anyone?
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

Burning the picture was Bobby's emotional reaction. Deep down he must not have really believed the people he loved were going to die.
[Edit] And Jilli - Heh.
It's not a reaction I can really comprehend, I guess. All of them standing there watching it burn just makes me go "Huh?".
And I don't understand burning the group picture in the least. That's not mythology, I just don't get it.
I saw it as the only way they could have a funeral without bodies to burn. They're standing there, giving them as close as they can to a hunter's send-off.
That's their ritual. That's how they say goodbye and godspeed to family.

Yes.
Man, I am so worried about Bobby, now. He's going to end up dying a terrible death, isn't he? There's just no way around it.
That makes sense. I would never have made that connection, but that is probably just me.

Uh-huh. Pretty much.

Oh. Ooooh. Now I feel a lot better about it.

That not so much.
Future Castiel mentioned that he had pretty much lost all of his powers by that point.
Except the power of teh hot.
I do wish we knew for sure that there won't be a sixth season. I keep hearing waffling. If it's going to be a season finale, killing off the Winchesters seems less likely, since they'd just have to be brought back, and we've been through that already
I was wondering about that today too, because I was thinking about Lucifer assuring Sam that Sam would agree to be his vessel in 6 months. Which would take us to May. Which would be the end of the season, and Sam saying yes would make a heck of season cliffhanger, assuming that they wanted to go for a sixth season.
