Thanks for a new kink, Sera. Seriously. I knew about the cowboy thing before it ever happened, but this is new for me.
I've learned so much about myself this season. I knew that Dean in a suit did it for me, but this particular cut with this particular hat seems to be the magic combination.
I think I just had a wayne's world fantasy about Dean with a tommygun in front of a vintage 1940's gangster car. Maybe even standing on the running board. Damn, that man looks fine in vintage clothes.
J Doh in 40's garb isn't bad either.
Dean catching sight of himself in the mirror in his suit? Awesome indeed.
I do like that he knows how good he looks.
I just had a horrible discovery: Jared's sideburns are taking over his dimples. This cannot stand.
Think about it: HAIRY DIMPLES.
Nick Lea was delightful as Ness, and I adored Ezra, and hope she shows up in AU fics. Shoot, Ness can show up in AU fics.
Dean doing Sean Connery! I had to go rewatch the train steps scene from The Untouchables, man, what a good scene. ::hearts Andy Garcia::
Someone needs to top up Annalee's sense of humor; she didn't like this episode. WTF?
She is also being wrong on the Internet:
We've already learned that Sam Colt, inventor of the famed pistol, was a secret Hunter who crafted a special pistol so powerful it could bring down Lucifer himself.
At least two people in the comments pointed out that she was wrong, too. Tsk tsk, Annalee.
Either Azazel or the Phoenix is the biggest game the Colt's ever brought down, right?
I don't know if she's watching the show with both eyes.
Not because I disagree with her liking or disliking the episode, but I'm surprised by the things she interprets. Well, I guess that's always a function of reading someone else's words, and she's required to go into detail and provide context every single episode, but still. I feel like a professional fan shouldn't let so many things like that get through.
Ah, well.
Meredith Woerner said during the week that the CW was all teen dramas and cheesy action, and I asked which category SPN and Nikita fell into, but I didn't get a response. Someone else pointed out that they also air Hart of Dixie and Ringer, which is, what, 40% of their output. I get sadface when I see people with a professional voice making the shortsighted who-cares-if-it's-accurate-since-it's-pithy generalisations that, well, are ghettoising our show, amongst others.
Did find a couple Nikita fans in the exchange, though, which is always nice.
