We've already learned that Sam Colt, inventor of the famed pistol, was a secret Hunter who crafted a special pistol so powerful it could bring down Lucifer himself.

At least two people in the comments pointed out that she was wrong, too. Tsk tsk, Annalee.
Either Azazel or the Phoenix is the biggest game the Colt's ever brought down, right?
I think so, yeah.
I don't know if she's watching the show with both eyes.
Not because I disagree with her liking or disliking the episode, but I'm surprised by the things she interprets. Well, I guess that's always a function of reading someone else's words, and she's required to go into detail and provide context every single episode, but still. I feel like a professional fan shouldn't let so many things like that get through.
Ah, well.
Meredith Woerner said during the week that the CW was all teen dramas and cheesy action, and I asked which category SPN and Nikita fell into, but I didn't get a response. Someone else pointed out that they also air Hart of Dixie and Ringer, which is, what, 40% of their output. I get sadface when I see people with a professional voice making the shortsighted who-cares-if-it's-accurate-since-it's-pithy generalisations that, well, are ghettoising our show, amongst others.
Did find a couple Nikita fans in the exchange, though, which is always nice.
I both love this and am unmoved by it. Her art is weird that way.
It's always... static? Superb in a technical sense (far beyond the level of photo-realism I can generally manage when trying), but missing a sense of life that less proficient artists often put in their work.
Her stuff to me always looks like she's really good at copying from a source, and adding a sort of soft rose-colored-glasses thing on top. But there's nothing of *her* in her art at all.
But there's nothing of *her* in her art at all.
Yeah, that's exactly it for me. I don't even feel the interpretation a good photographer accomplishes. It just feels like transliteration to me.
I mean, I'd kill little children for her skills at likenesses, etc (especially where my head is right now with my stuff), but who is euclase? At least she's stepping outside of just reproducing photos--now she can help with photos that never happened, but that's about it.
I much prefer a petite madame who is really good at likenesses, but less than euclase, but everything she does stinks of mood.
everything she does stinks of mood
I'm not sure what you mean by that.
