What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wow, those are pretty amazing, I agree.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Questions for the paleyfest. Didn't we just have a "if you go to a con, ask this"? Our opportunity.

Crazy like a fox, and crazy like a person with little grip on or respect for reality are two different things, and the latter crazy I've seen far outstrips Misha's shenanigans.

Yes, but dude was going to be executed by the Queen of England, but escaped. Now he is mailing individual puzzle pieces to fans. Reality is somewhere Misha chooses not to be. But I do love him. And he makes me laugh and laugh. Especially when his reaction to the next Choose the Best Show was "how many of these fucking things do we have to win?" Bwah. I would like to play with Misha for a few hours but then he would have to go home and give me rest time. That sounds dirty but it's not. I imagine us playing dress up and pin the tail on the donkey. Maybe a bonus makeup make over.

Those tiny drawings are amazing. Wow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You think those people vilifying Genevieve and Daneel and stalking the houses and spitting at them on twitter are choosing not to partake of reality? Misha knows what time it is. Those fans do not and don't care.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Eww. You're right, I didn't know that was going on. I thought Danneel was making friends with the fans. I dont regularly pay attention to her tweets but she always seemed to handle situations very well and with humor. Yes, I was pretending that stuff did not exist. Sometimes if I close my eyes, then I'm invisible is probably my theory there. That's too bad.

People could have been mean to Sandy (probably some were), but Jared came out and said this is the woman that I love and if you are mean to her then I will be angry with you. That seemed to take care of it. She was the darling. I honestly think the same statement from either respective man would cure things for both Daneel and Gen. No, they shouldn't have to do it, and I respect them if they take a stand and don't do it, but wouldn't it make it much more pleasant for the wives to endure this circus around their husbands?

It probably is too much to ask of fandom to be logical. Some of them split allegience to a brother and bash the other. If they can't accept love of one brother for another (and I'm not talking wincest), how could they possible separate character from actor when it came to a personal life? So sad. Such a deterrent from wanting fame.

I was just being silly about Misha's silliness. Not serious that he was on the level of stalking or attacking (although he did ground some of the minions).

I have no idea if either of them has ever made a statement telling the crazies to respect their wives, but they really shouldn't have to. People need to be grownups. How can you call yourself a fan and hate on someone they say they love like that? It's not like it will get you brownie points. I read that Daneel has said she'd never appear on the show because fandom hates her so much. Gen's already lived through that.

Petite Madame draws D/C! (with bonus Wincest for the other side).

Because books.

mishacollins: Mubarak resigned! The military asked me to serve as interim president but I'd miss the end of snowboarding season, so I had to decline.

I give up on formatting. Oy.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Yeah, that's what I was saying. Shouldn't have to do it, but if it's worked in the past to make life easier, why not? Just seems like a smart move, but I totally respect their choices if the stand on principle. Gen's opening a con concert with Jared so things must be okay with her and fans now. I've heard of Daneel saying she won't do SPN, but I also see her on twitter interacting very pleasantly with them.

I dunno, when do we ever know the whole story? (eg JDM saying he'd love to be on the show, but they don't call him)

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Fans have been hating on Danneel for years. They've been rude to her in front of Jensen when she's accompanied him to cons, and he's scolded them for it. It never made big press. Possibly because, though with some fans it's hard to believe, he may actually have embarrassed them about their behavior.

She's a patient woman. She's sat behind him for hours while he signed and signed and signed photos and dvds and other odd things, flashing a smile and exchanging a word with fans. I know he's paid very well to do this, and I know he volunteered. But she's not getting paid, and it's deadly boring just sitting and getting dirty looks from his fans, when they bother to acknowledge your presence at all. Still, I think he feels better when she's there, and she's done that for him, with no fanfare, for years. Since Jared was with Sandy, who did much the same thing.

Gen has a bigger presence in SPN fandom, and because of her antagonistic role as well as being Jared's gf, she had a lot of negative response, some of it vitriolic. Jared was sort of ingenuous (or manipulative, it's hard to tell with him sometimes) in LA in 2009 when he said something like Didn't you love Gen as Ruby? to the crowd. He seemed genuinely surprised and dismayed when the crowd went, Noooo! Well, sweetie, one, your question was ambivalous. While we may have liked to HATE Ruby b/c she was mean and antithecal to Our Boyz, we didn't LIKE her b/c she was MEEEEN to Sam and Dean. And while some of us may have appreciated her work, others of us may have preferred Katie's presentation of the character, others of us may have found Gen's performance...less than sparkling, others of us may have liked her acting just fine. If you're going to go there and ask the prickly questions, you need to be specific in what you're asking.

But by and large, I think fandom has had to accept Gen's here to stay, though she has much less deliberate interaction with the craxy.

Danneel does tend to maintain her cheerful, upbeat public persona, in the face of *years* of being disliked and outright hated in some quarters, and I give her all credit for that. I haven't seen much of her work, but what I have seen, I think she's capable of better, and it would be very nice if she got the opportunity to prove that.

I love Petite Madame's work. Those D/Cs, the colors and the softness are wonderfully done, and she catches the essence of the characters, as well as likeness to the actors.

The "'cesty" one--well, I don't see it that way. I've always thought that the way they were raised, the brothers are more familiar with each other's bodies (stitches, bandaging, re-locating joints) than other siblings, have used touch as comfort when they had scant and few other comforts, reaching back into childhood. So that picture *to me* has no sexual connotation at all. It's just comfort.

Oh, opinions, I haz them.

Those aren't the guys we see on screen, though. So her fanon is just as valid as yours.
