Because books.

Did you read the spoilery stuff, you naughty girl?

I had no idea Dean/Cas was so very May/December!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I already knew the premises of the episodes. WHICH ARE WIN. You should be that spoiled. You'd be excited all to hell.

There is some other stuff I wish I didn't know and that I fiercely hope is wrong and want to forget, though. Curses.

I had no idea Dean/Cas was so very May/December!

Isn't it perfect!

Because books.

I know one thing about one episode which seems like a big win to me, and one thing I think I remember reading that I've sort of already forgotten and can't remember if it was real or not.

Wow, grammar much? Anyway.

I just want it to be 9 p.m. Friday. NAO PLZ.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Well, no. Not actually, for some of us.

But that's all right, y'all go ahead. Enjoy.

I didn't think it was prohibited to discuss ships, Bev. And no one implied everyone was on the Dean/Cas train.

Seriously. You ship incest. I'm not snarking on that.

I don't. I've alluded to it once or twice to make a point. My level of squick is pretty equal, but it's okay to squee about one relationship in this thread but not the other.

I said before I didn't want to harsh anybody's squee, and I really really don't. Most of my flist and the few other places I frequent flisties have moved on to band boys or Kradam or Inception or Fringe or Sherlock fandoms. This is the last place devoted to my primary fandom, so I've talked and read the most here.

I apologize if anything I've said offended or made anybody uncomfortable, or unwelcome. Wasn't my intent. Carry on.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I have been known to snark what I ship.

Bev, I'm not sure how to take pointing out, again, that you don't like a particular topic as anything but harshing squee. I apologize if you meant it differently somehow.

I've read and written Wincest. But I don't discuss it here because it's a cultural taboo for a lot of people, and it's never been part of thread culture. I assume other people don't for that reason, or because they read it and don't necessarily want to admit it or talk about it, which is also fine. It's a kinky thing, and not discussing it here seems to be more gentleman's agreement than anything else. It certainly gets plenty of play elsewhere.

But there's no longstanding taboo against sex with angels in human form, and the show has illustrated more than once that angels are sexual creatures, anyway. So while I understand that you don't like it, I think a lot of folks are simply happy to have a ship to discuss for once. The show sure hasn't given us a lot of other pairings of major characters.

Considering The Show doesn't even recoginze the Wincest taboo I'm not sure if anybody should feel compelled to avoid talking about it in this thread. That said, as it's (still, so far) not my beautiful cake, I do appreciate the pussy-footing around the subject.

imo, we should all feel free to bring up anything Winchester related in this thread but it's also OK to make the occasional squicky noise. Speaking for myself, I'm fine with getting a little squicked and moving on.
