Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Sam on Dr. Evil's table, about to lose an eye to the melon spoon.

This. 100X's this.

Because books.

Mine are:

  • the entire second half of The Benders (way too much of an X-Files "Home" vibe in that one for me)

  • Dean with the shotgun under his chin in Simon Said

  • Gordon stalking Sam in Fresh Blood

  • the girl in the walls in Family Remains

  • the final scene in the restaurant in My Bloody Valentine

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Show doesn't scare scare me. It upsets me emotionally and grosses me out.

The melon spoon? The drano-drinking? The mutual vore in MBV? The fingernail plucking? Can't watch those scenes again. Most of Bloody Mary? Skeevy time.

Scenes like YED!John give me dirty bad thoughts. Sure, my heart is going thumpety thump, but the rest of me is pretty traitorous at that point.

Which isn't to say I don't shriek "Don't do it!" at my screen. Just that it doesn't tend to linger.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

dirty bad thought scenes

1. Sam with Jo in BuaBS

2. Sam with Ruby in IKWYDLS

3. Meg with Dean and Sam in Shadow

4. Sam with Madison in Heart

(I'm seeing a pattern here)

(and yes)

5. John/YED up close and personal with Dean in Devil's Trap

Evidently there is no Dean dirty bad wrong.

Because books.

Stuff on TV never scares me the way movies can, because of the limitations, I guess. Although that X-Files ep sure did.

Skeevy/gross is not the same thing for me -- I don't even have to look away from most of it, unless there are bugs or things with too many legs near mouths.

God, I had forgotten the drano drinking. That was hardcore.

I think ... sharing my dirty bad wrong thoughts would be embarrassing and possibly too revealing. (Like how hot demon!Sam was when he had Jo up against the bar. Mrph.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dirty bad thoughts:

  • Evil!Winchesters (all three, Meg, YED, Skinwalker (goddamned Skinwalker)) (playing Perkins style here)
  • Dean popping the clip out of that gun in Long Distance Call
  • Castiel beating the everloving shit out of Dean
  • Sam treating his sex partners like rag dolls
  • "Last time someone looked at me like that, I got laid."

These are not things I think I should find as...rrowr as I do, but it's too late. They're damned hot.

Heh. I saw that, Bev! I feel better now.

Dirty bad:

  • demon!Sam with Jo
  • yes indeed, BAMF Cas beating on Dean
  • Dean and his paperclip escape in the pilot
  • End!Verse Dean knocking himself out and dragging him back to his cave cabin
  • oooh, Dean in Wendigo, calling for the creature to come get him

Do you think if you went to therapy and explained to your therapist what about Supernatural you found compelling and hot she'd try and fix you? Sometimes I wonder, and sometimes I have faith in the profession.

I mean, there is nothing right about Cas beating up Dean, except...everything. Everything was right.

Mostly I judge myself by imagining what my mother would think if she knew.

Oh, lordie.
