When I fly cross country, multi t der. Tyoe what I think, not what I type -stops are always cheaper. However, I'm often flying to nowheres, so... I can't recall my last non...oh wait! To B'ham. All of 90 minutes away.

Speaking of flying, I am currently on a heavy-duty stealth campaign to get my #2 to go to a meeting she'd have to travel to. And we're on a travel freeze. I would love to go to the meeting as well, but I really think it's vital that my colleage go. I have totally been pulling out all the stops in my campaign, so am hoping for the best.....

Watching the game tonight I got all misty eye'ed that I had missed so much baseball this season.
I may go to a few Rockies games and cheer for them, but the A's will always have my heart, despite the crap ownership does to my dear team.

It's true that the only other presidential election year the Phils were even in the series was 1980. But when you get there that rarely, it's hard to make much of a trend of it.
