Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

Without a plan, it turns out, a lot of decisions are really hard. Eliot might actually hate his shrink. Yes, Eliot is getting healthier or whatever, but at what cost? He used to be a mess of scar tissue and substance abuse, but he could get dressed in the morning without an existential crisis.

Doesn't Palin have to donate all her clothes and such now since they are no longer being used for the campaign?

I hear also a lot of it is "lost."

That's what I was expecting.

Flickr set of the Obamas behind the scenes on Election Night. May be allergy-inducing.

This one is fantastic: [link]

My god, they are SUCH a beautiful family!

Best-looking First Family since the Kennedys. (Actually, I never got the "JFK = hott" thing, so I'm willing to say the best-looking First Family, period.)

Coding and Sleeping

For all the talk about the Republican party falling apart, they did get 46% of the vote and would have done better if it were not for the economic crisis. I don't think they are in all that bad of shape if they can get a good line to take on health care and find a way to appeal to the Hispanic community.

Who was the last? JFK Jr, right?

Gerald Ford had teenage sons, I think.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

if they can get a good line to take on health care and find a way to appeal to the Hispanic community.

But I think both will be difficult for them. They'll probably keep on looking for some "free market" approach to health care, and haven't they pretty much burned bridges to the Hispanic community for a generation?
