I was just doing some reading at political blogs, and I'm liking the latest meme of equating McCain with Gollum, which I first saw on TDS last week (I'm such a LotR geek!). The New York Times is doing it now:

You can find it at Publix, GG-- it's called Gordo's and it's in the Dairy case. They have a mild and a hot-- the hot, while spicy, doesn't really sear the sinuses, more pleasantly kicky.

As usual with these type of cons, I returned with more books than I started with, and this time I only bought three.(Got 5 books in my goodie bag and a trade of Gotham Central vol. 1 when I attended the Batman:World's Greatest Detective? panel) Oh, and another tote bag.(The books were in the tote bag)

I think I mentioned the time Comcast tried to charge me $270, but instead charged me $2700. They claimed they were unable to reverse the charge. Instead they told me they wouldn't submit the charge, which meant I had to wait 5 to 7 days for the $2700 hold on my checking account to drop off....
