Barb that was what I heard from somone who came into the office. so it wasn't official. But the shops -- flooded, and they didn't have flood insurance.

I think it was yesterday the path around Lake Ella was wasit deep water. Some areas got 27 inches of rain.

Well, I got inspected (passed), and now have Texas license plates. They would not honor the CA handicap plates until I get "recertified" by a Texas Doctor. Thankfully my CA hanging placard doesn't expire until June of next year. I just need to remember to hang the damn thing. I went to the 3rd location to get the Drivers License taken care of, and alas, I was thwarted by not having: Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, and/or Passport handy. But, I got the form that I can fill out, and I learned I will *NOT* have to take any tests to get said license. Progress! So next week when I have a day off, I'll take care of that. Now I gotta find a screwdriver to get the old plates off and the new ones on. Wheee!

But first. Dinner. I'm starving!

Can you send them someplace else for the class time? We have this system where it's (1) verbal redirect (1) Think sheet (3) safe seat (4) buddy room.

Problem? It's all hedged in with superspecific lang., and the kids take it not seriously at all, so if you want a kids out, you get the "Have you gone through The Process?" questions.

My choices in answering

(A) I have tried to process with this student, but s/he is unamenable to participating.

(b) No, I haven't. I can't shut him up long enough to send him to the fucking safe seat,

(c) No, I have concussed the unamenable child with the safe seat, and I am going to the Buddy Room. Where I devoutly hope you keep lawyers and vodka.

(d)Fuck the fucking process; take this brat out to the woodshed; I hear there's something nasty there. I hope it's hungry and a messy eater.
