shakes tiny fist at WindSparrow
So today has been a weird washout so far. Started out all gungho and filled with purpose - got up, went downstairs to gym, had shower....and then there was some
Doctor Who
viewing, and some internetting, and some reading, which was all fine, and the intention of leaving the flat a little after twelve...
...whereupon I had a headache, lay down for a moment, and now it is 4.50pm. Although, granted, I woke up about an hour ago, and made a bowl of raspberry chocolate cheesecake by way of belated lunch.

Hmm.
Okay, some of my plans are out the window, I guess, but I could still go out and do things. Right? Right.
Mmmmmm, cheesecake. I should make cheesecake.
But not for breakfast. (It's not the thought of eating cheesecake for breakfast that bothers me [quite the opposite], as much as the fact that I'd have to purchase ingredients and make and bake the cake.)
Ah. Well, I don't have baking facilities, and the whole biscuit-crumb base thing isn't very low carb, so in The World Of Fay cheesecake now generally means full fat Philadelphia cheese beaten to within an inch of its life with a fork and a generous splash of cream. In this instance, it was sweetened with a smidge of Raspberry Crystal Light powder and rendered pleasingly chocolatey by a spoonful of unsweetened cocoa.
Not, I grant you,
real
cheesecake - but still a yummy thing!
Still sounds nummy, Fay. Especially for someone who's been doing the instant sugar-free pudding thing. Gets a little on the boring side.
That sounds pretty yummy, Fay. I think I made something similar when I was low-carbing, although I didn't think to add Raspberry Crystal Light powder—genius! I used to nuke my version for a little bit before mixing, which gave it a sort of cheesecake pudding texture.
You know what nifty dessert I made for the group home yesterday with instant sugar free pudding mix? I made White Chocolate pudding, then poured it over fresh blueberries. The only person who did not like it was someone who does not like blueberries.
Fay's cheesecake dessert sounds marvellous, too.

You know you can buy that in a tub now. It's on the same continuum of disgusting/divine as the KFC bowls and half the casserole recipes in a Junior League cookbook. Probably not as good, but you get points for lazy.
Somehow my eggs, bacon, and banana bread now seem like such a dud of a breakfast!

Sentence spoken by one of my classmates in speech class last night during her speech on traveling:
"Learn the language. At least learn key phrases so that you can get help if you need it. I had trouble the first time I went to Europe because I didn't speak any French or British."
This has been Truly True Moments. We thank you for being with us today and remember - when you say something stupid, chances are it'll end up on the internet with lots of people laughing at you.
