Finally saw it, and my thoughts:
Oh, my goodness, I got very weepy when Wilfred said he'd look up for her.
I loved Jack and the idea of the three doctors. I also thought that it was very amusing that his function flying the Tardis was the very evocative push/pul motion.
She's got a Doctor, be happy! He's got all the same damn memories, he's the same man, minus one heart. And guess what, he'll say he loves you! Be happy! Yeesh.
eh, I'm kind of with her. I would think that the new Doctor wouldn't want to be with her, since she would always see him as second best.
I want Jenny to show up and Donna to go into crisis, and remember everything. Once she gets cured, she gets to tear the Doctor a new one.
if she doesnt remember the Doctor, how can she remember Jenny? Although I guess Jenny might talk to her and jog her memory.
And the Doctor says "Doesn't need saying.", right? As opposed to the waffling "Does it need saying?"
I hear it as "Does it need saying?", but I say keep thinking of it your way. I remember in "I Will Remember You", I heard Buffy's line as "I heard your heart beat", as opposed to "I heard your heartbeat" I liked the former much better. Subtle, but made a difference to me.
I wonder if, by not killing Donna outright, they are leaving an open door for a possible return?

Erm, that was my happy little fantasy, based on his enthusiastic greeting, and the fact that it would be so, so right. But it was not in fact canon.
but not surprising though. It's actually a little problem I have with Captain Jack. He's supposed to be omni/bisexual, but he only shows overt attraction to men (Gwen notwithstanding). This, of course, could be my bitterness/wishful thinking.

eh, I'm kind of with her. I would think that the new Doctor wouldn't want to be with her, since she would always see him as second best.
I also can't see a Doctor with significant personality traits from Donna being terribly indulgent of Rose's need to be the center of the universe. Donna was exactly what the Doctor needed to whap him upside the head and stop his moping, but can you imagine Rose's reaction the first time her Doctor yells "OI, SHUT IT!" at her?

True, but I doubt that Rose would do anything to prompt that. Donna, while having some good traits, could be exceedingly annoying.
Hey, here's something I didn't see anyone talk about --
why/how did the door close on Donna? Was it Dalek Khan? Was it the Tardis acting to save itself?

Uhm, I think you need to go back and watch some of Jack's interactions with just about every character who wasn't shooting at him on either show. From romancing Rose when he meets her, to flirting with the old secretary at Reese's trucking company, there's been lots of overt attraction to women. He just seems to more easily end up in bed (or wherever's convenient) with men.

From romancing Rose when he meets her, to flirting with the old secretary at Reese's trucking company, there's been lots of overt attraction to women. He just seems to more easily end up in bed (or wherever's convenient) with men.
Not to mention that relationship he'd had with the old woman who loved fairies - whom he had obviously loved when she was of an age, and then put himself back in her life when enough time had passed he could pretend he was the son of her old flame. That was an important love to him, more than just sex, but I have a hard time thinking the two of them were entirely chaste with one another. Too much passion for that, and too much wistfulness on Jack's part for him to have looked her up simply for charity's sake.
