No, they've been confirmed as jelly babies. Apparently it was Peter Capaldi's idea.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
SH: Ichabod seems to be the go-to for information. Icha-wiki?
Just saying "Icha-wiki" in my _head_ made me grin like a mad woman.
Totally COMM'ed.
I'm watching SH right now and, oh my, what a wibble.
"Our fate is not for one to bury the other. We succeed or fail (significant pause) together."
Sigh.
Crane was being all kinds of hot last night. That smug little grin is yummy.
Seee-rri-ously.
Dayum.
I'm not one for the tall and skinny, but that hair, those eyes, that voice.
I'm a goner.
That accent ...
and that snark delivered, with 18th-century-style flourishes in that accent!
When Abby realized he was trolling her by learning how to drive already--I don't want to imagine Jenny's driving lessons that focuses on bootleg turns.
Exactly. Jenny was messin' with Abby on that score.
I have one quibble. I've had to stop and start the episode and have just gotten to the rescue scene.
Okay, so 10 year old girl has been kidnapped and traumatized. Ichabod carries her away and pauses for a long conversation about ethics and artifacts.
At no point does the child utter a peep.
Unless the piper cast a silencing spell...I'm not buying it. A single line from Crane about the need for calm would have fixed it for me.
Whathisname Holly has a McConaughey-like charm. I like him.
Interesting points Henry made in his conversation with Irving at the end of the ep. I don't like that they seem to have tricked him into signing over his soul (if they actually have). Though, to be fair, he didn't take the time to read before signing. Still. That kind of deal seems like it ought to require assent with knowledge, based on my preference and how I think that kind of lore goes.
The Pied Piper was good and creepy -- loved the effects especially in the fight with Ichabod a the end. His noise-cancelling earbud schtick, when he first tried them on, was funny, too.
