A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
He signed in blood. I think arguing consent would be like one of those lawsuits that cost more than a favorable ruling would be worth.
Though Henry did seem willing to tear the contract up--with consequences.
My quibble with the rescue was--since when do iPhones come with explosives timers set in? Unless Holly and Crane had time to coordinate bombs.
I thought the iphone bombs came out of the big bag of boomboom.
If not, you are totally right. How could that even happen?
I was intrigued by aspects of the Henry/Irving conversation where Henry pointed out how much Irving may have lala'ed past some of the finer details.
I noted from the closed captioning that Holly's name actually seems to be Hawley.
And yeah, still objectionating here to deals signed under false premises. Somebody presents themself to you as a lawyer, you are supposed to be able to implicitly trust their advice.
(I'd love for a Lawful Evil Satan to show up and declare the contract null and void -- just so that he could fuck with Moloch. Especially if he were played by Viggo Mortenson. Ah well.)

That bugs me, too. OTOH, it's not like Evil Incorporated plays by the rules.

I'm slightly disappointed he's not played by Josh Holloway, since the character reminds me so damn much of Sawyer from Lost.

Love it. Party foul on Moloch.
Hawley. Why do I like that better? Weird.
still say the actor playing Hawley looks and sounds like Gary Busey when he was young.
The Flash: The dialog continues to be cornball ("we were all struck by lightning?" Oh, honey), but I really liked all the scene Gustin had with Jesse L. Martin. Joe's face when Barry yelled "you are not my father!" Awww.
Wells keeps unfolding like a deadly flower. I dig it. Cisco is adorable and Caitlin is growing on me.

The thing that bugs me is not that Evil isn't playing fair, it's that magic has an element of intent that's missing from the transaction. Even when there's trickery, there's usually bad intent (i.e. guy thinks he's hiring a hitman to kill his business partner, but actually signs away his soul).
Points vociferously at Vortex's post.
Not sure fair or intent comes into this though. It really didn't as far as Henry's initial fate was concerned for sure.
I would love to see a Satan smack-down of Moloch and Henry at some point. "I have rules!"
