What, they're on the show? I love those guys.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
spoiler-y link for The Walking Dead casting. i'm...confused.
I swear I had stuff to say about Arrow, but I forgot it all.
I loves me some Digg. And Tommy Merlyn (who is the only character for whom I feel compelled to use his full name).
And I think Tamoh Penikett (whose name I almost certainly misspelled) was in the previews for the next episode. That would be cool.
tiggy, I haven't read the graphic novels, but that is weird.
I don't know why I've fought so hard against concluding that Penikett (You were right! Unlike me and Sienkewicz....wait I got that right first try, 25 years later) can't act. But, really--maybe that's why people thought Dushku was acting fine--because her love interest was a gorgeous gorgeous hunk of finely crafted wood. NO EMOTION.

Iiiiinteresting. And, hm, I wasn't really a fan of the character the suspected actor is best known for, but I didn't think he was a bad actor, so I am all for this.
Yeah, I don't think Penikett can act, but he is hunky. And does a lot of his own fight scenes, which is cool.
He was able to convince me that his Dollhouse character was a moron with tunnel vision. That's what he was shooting for, right?
Gimme a call when he takes a role shooting for anything else.
I find Arrow okay enough CW fluff, except...except for the arrogance Ollie displays when he's training. He had 5 years. It was a really hard five years, clearly traumatic if nothing had happened beyond his father's pointed suicide, but I don't think that he's gained the right to talk to Diggle that way. It makes me want to see Diggle outwit him at every turn, not just to get hospital bills paid for.
Before Ollie was shipwrecked he as totally an arrogant ass. I would assume that is not necessarily something you lose. So the island changed him, but he still has a big streak of arrogant ass. In short I don't read this as the writers want us to sympathize with his talking to Diggle that way.
