'Heart Of Gold'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Oh, huh. Thanks. I hadn't heard of that one. How many eps were there in total?

Compassionately intolerant

Jen, there are 13 episodes total there.

From the main page, go to channels, select television and then hit the d.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I missed V. We had SYTYCD tivoing on one feed and were watching the French language version of the Montreal game on the other. No, I don't know why only the French version was available. It was kinda fun because we couldn't get mad at the commentators. Also because some of the Slavic names worked really well with a French pronunciation.

Thanks, Juliebird. Did you post that before? I think I have it bookmarked for once I finish the eps.

Here few people attempt my last name. In France, no one blinks. They don't pronounce it in a Polish way, or the way we do here, but they are remarkably consistent among themselves.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The French Canadian way of mispronouncing my first name is one of the few I don't mind. And it's really not a pretty accent. I haven't heard a strong Parisian accent go at it.

How do they pronounce it? I ask because I always think of your name in French because I thought that was the basic pronunciation.

It just made me laugh because there were some names that really didn't work, like Gomez, but some, like Hamrlik and Kostitsyn, that were remarkably harmonious.
