A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

I know I'm like the last person to have watched Torchwood: Children of Earth, but man...that show just kills me.
I should have known when Ianto
died and we still had an episode to go, that it was going to be painful. I probably shouldn't have been surprised that Capt. Jack would sacrifice his own grandson, but it still made me sad.
But despite the gut-wrenching, I liked the longer story much better than the regular episodes of Torchwood. I guess the show is over now? (I assume, since
there is no one left but Gwen
.)
No, Stephanie, BBC has confirmed a Series 4
Hm, I'm curious to see how they handle that.
Robert Farley at Lawyers, Guns and Money has a funny take on the end of BSG. I'd give it a "heh". [link]
I'm curious to see how they handle that.
Captain Jack gets brought back (emergency? accident?). They recruit new members. (Or do they bring back existing staff from the dead? Captain Jack and his fearless crew of zombies?)
I'd love to see Jack wind up on a parallel universe where everyone is still alive, but Gwen is the head of the team and they distrust his appearance (because wouldn't he still be frozen in the Torchwod vaults?)
I know there have been variations on a theme done before, but it's a way to bring back the old team members if they want to.
I would like to see a Torchwood where everything is fine and each week we see the foibles of Rhys & Gwen raising an adorable kiddo.
What? I didn't ask for a not-ever-dead Ianto & Jack to be living together happily in Swansea or something.
Torchwood is a weird show to me. I've never felt super attached to any of the characters, although they did a great job of making me love Ianto more and more just before he died. But I sort of think what Jack did was unforgivable. I mean, yes he saved the world and all, but I don't think I could trust someone who so easily chose his own grandson to die. Maybe this is my post-parent feelings coming into play (I've noticed i have way less tolerance on kid things these days), but I find Jack's tossing away the idea of "an injury to one is an injury to all" very upsetting. Having said that, I suppose that's why I liked the mini-series so much. The story pushed the boundaries and made me uncomfortable.
