I haven't been keeping up in here, so have all the Bay Area-istas checked in? Is everybody ok?
In me news, I was the only person who wore a costume to work today. Noone else even had a black or orange or both t-shirt on!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Me not being in a black top is an indicator of costume, quite likely.
So far: 73. My baby puppy: [link]
her name is Annabel and I think she looks a lot like Susan W.'s, except blonder
She does look like a blonde AB--I think it's the eyes and the resolute expression.
Yay puppies!
GC, that link didn't work for me.
Why do earthquakes hit when I am where no clothes - just had an aftershock ( 2.8) while I was in the bath steaming my head.
eta: nope make that a 3.7
well we are home. I finally found a formal I wore in college and wore that. The neighborhood does a kid's a parade - major street closed for 13 blocks. It was a madhouse trying to keep the afterschool kids together and other kids out of our group. Afterwards the neighborhood on the street is really a madhouse with the older kids all running around unsupervised and crowding into any business that is giving out candy. We tried 5 apartments in our building and got ZERO. Only one person was home and they didn't have candy. It seems no one reallu trick-or-treats in this building BUT the bowl of dum dums I left at our door while we were out is all gone. The bowl was TAKEN, GONE. People are just tacky.
Aaand we're done. 94 trick or treaters, we're out of candy and closed down.
Peter is walking around clutching a (wrapped) Milky Way and saying "more!" (must be my kid) and Eve and her dad are out on the next block, which gets HUNDREDS every year.
