Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

One year I should have a party where the idea is to wear the most banal "sexy" costume possible. Sexy Toll Collector. Sexy Paralegal. Sexy DMV Employee. Sexy Supreme Court Justice.

I'm still trying to figure out a Sexy Burqua. Some crazy sheer fabric, a friend with a light, and a merry widow beneath?

One friend at the party was dressed as a sexy race car driver. I'm thinking "Really?

Yeah, that one works better for boys: [link]

(Or you can go here and make the Dannys Dance [link]

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks Rick, that's really helpful.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I am waiting for my adorable pirate to get here. Then we wander my office halls.

I'll have a bonus Jilli, too!

Smokey and The Bandit. [link] Their little sister is Angelina Ballerina (her name is Annabel and I think she looks a lot like Susan W.'s, except blonder).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Does Nilly know about this?

17?

The 17 is a self proclaimed secret society that has been advertising itself throughout campus with chalking and flyers. The group recently sent an e-mail to Broadside with more information about the group’s goals and motives.

The 17 entered the social consciousness of the Mason community last Monday morning with the scrawling of “17” in chalk across the Fairfax campus. The 17 also posted flyers and sent out a cryptic e-mail calling themselves “The 17 at Bailey’s Crossroads” to a select group of Mason students, faculty and administration members.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm still trying to figure out a Sexy Burqua. Some crazy sheer fabric, a friend with a light, and a merry widow beneath?

In Morocco we saw a number of sexy djellabas--hot pink with black trim, and the tassel on the hood thrown down the back swayed in counterpoint to the wearer's hips.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I saw very few little ones in costume in my neighborhood, which was a disappointment. It looked like the kids even as young as 10 or so thought they were too cool for costumes, so there were like five tweens in regular clothes for every little Spiderman or princess.

That is awesome.

I read an article ages ago, maybe in Salon, in which Moroccan women at the baths were comparing their really nice undergarments.

The other day on the train a kid (about 8-ish) was talking with his dad about superheros. The kid asked, "Why do superheros always put their hands on their hips?"

Good question....
