Jessica, love the happy tushies stuff. So. Cute.
I love the sushi diapers! Maybe if I have a boy, I'll have an excuse to spend more money and get some cool new diapers. I so want to be all gender neutral in my color choices, but I just don't think I can put a boy in a pink diaper (unless maybe we don't leave the house).
Look, I'm increasing Natter posting volume all by myself!
ita, I'm sorry you are still stuck in the ER. Why is the nurse's leg in a brace all of a sudden? That's a little worrisome.
My 2pm interview canceled.
Bleh. Still have a 1:30 and an 8, which I think will be available on the net. Will post.
Last spam posting for now and then back to work...
I just interviewed this guy who wants to becomes a US citizen. To do that, you have to be able to read/write/speak in English and pass this history test. He failed the writing part. I have no problem with immigrants learning English, but here, everyone speaks Spanish!
Anyway, that's nothing special, but this guy really wanted to pass (and took the test before he was totally ready) because his son is back home and won't be able to come here legally unless his dad is a citizen. I could tell the guy felt so sad that he couldn't do it.

I know what you mean -- I'd love to be completely gender neutral and colorblind and all modern and enlightened etc in D's clothing choices, but I find I'm drawing the line at pink. Oh well.
Avoiding pink diapers is easy because I am absolutely forbidden to buy any new diapers while he still fits into his infant prefolds & covers. FORBIDDEN. No matter how cute they are.
Right now I need him to agree that napping in his Amby is just as comfortable as napping on my lap so I can go finish dyeing my hair. He slept just long enough earlier this morning for me to bleach it, but I haven't been able to put him down long enough to get the blue in...good thing it's too hot to leave the apartment today anyway.
I'd natter more, but I'm still waiting for the coffee to make me human. My mental gauge is wobbling too close to "sociopath" to engage in much conversation.
I have a $25 Amazon gift certificate. What should I buy?
(Doing my part to speed up Natter since 5:30 this morning.)
The nurse got into it with a drunken patient.
They want to know which I pick: home or hospitalisation.
So totally neither.
Good luck with the interviews, paperdol!
Jessica, good luck with the hair dyeing.
The weather today and the rest of the week will be Satan's Armpit: Hot & humid. I need to get Owen out of the house, though, before he drives me crazy.
So totally neither.
oh, ita, that's horrible. I hope you can get some relief.

No cloth diapers.
