[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I R GUD LISNR.
No, please, make it stop.
Ok, allow me to put this all together so that meara can just cut and paste when she's ready to apply:

Jilli, seconding and thirding the Xanax/Ativan thing. Sometimes cutting through the coping techniques to just Make My Brain Stop is the only thing that works quickly enough to be useful.
That's why I'm going to seriously look into it. Because on Thursday last week, which was awful, there was a part of my brain standing back and saying "Why are you panicking? Why are you crying? There's no need. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. Fuck, deep breaths aren't working. STOP CRYING." But nothing seemed to stop that loop. So yes, I think emergency back-up meds are my new future plan.
saves for next cover letter
AM IN YUR OFIZZES, STEELIN YUR TONR.
Kristin, I am totally copying that to use as my cover letter when I send my resume to Someplace Else.
Jilli, may I also suggest just getting out for a little while? even in your corporate campus is there someplace you could get out and sit for a little while? When things get hairy in my office, I make it a point to get out and walk around the block, find a little pocket garden and sit for a little while, anything to recover some semblance of sanity.
Jilli, you'd have to add "I IS A EDITOR. O NOES, THEY BE STEALIN MA SANITYZ!"
Kristin, I am totally copying that to use as my cover letter when I send my resume to Someplace Else.
You should add, "CAN I HAZ FLEXIBLE DRESSCODE?" and include a picture of a cat in a Victorian dress and hat.
