What is even happening?
It's starting at the point right in the middle of the boobs at the bra strap line and working it's way down my tummy to my waistband. On my back, it's starting right along my spine. both front and back are more on the right side of my body. I just noticed the rash day before yesterday, I think. There is some pain at this point but the rash is small, red bumps that are getting these teeny blisters that are weeping. There's some tingling but I don't know if that's just normal itching.
It does sound like Shingles to me. Sometimes, people just break out with Shingles out of nowhere. My s-i-l was probably about your age, and had nothing going on that made sense with it breaking out.
If I were the nagging type, I'd tell you to call her and ask if it would hurt you to take the anti-viral if it's not Shingles, because my understanding is that it has a really narrow window where it's effective. But I'm not the nagging type, so I'm totally not doing that. See?
I hope it's just a flukey rash.

Wheee, I just got pictures from ex-GF with her new baby boy (her second). Cute! Her daughter is now a very pretty little toddler with her Mom's striking eyes, but they're brown like the father's.
I will never get over how quickly ex-GF's life whipsawed from Sucks Beyond The Telling Of It to Blessed In Every Way. Just makes me smile thinking about it.
