My morning included: Doctor appointment, flat tire on the way to doctor appointment topped off by the cherry of a possible diagnosis of shingles.
That sucks! Couldn't fate have worked a rectal probe in while it was at it? Fuck you, Cash's Friday! You are a jackhole of a day.
Oh Cash, that's just mean and wrong. Bad day! No cookie.
On the plus side, there is Chinese food for lunch.
I'm hoping the rash isn't shingles and just dermatitis or a fungal thing. Doc gave me Lotrimin for a first try but she really seemed to think it was shingles. I'm not overly stressed and I haven't been ill recently so I don't really know why she seemed set on that diagnosis.
If the Lotrimin works, it won't matter. But if it is shingles, the Lotrimin will make the rash worse. Then I'm to call the doc and she'll call in another prescription for me. Eh.
Fortunately, the tire wasn't expensive to fix (well, we replaced it with a cheap one, anyway).
ND, I hope you get a nice, official offer soon.
Maybe we should burn off this thread by insulting Cashmers' very bad, no good, terrible day.
You call yourself a day? You're just the scabby itch of a day.

Sign that your day sucks? "I'm hoping its a fungal thing." That's what you get to hope for.

That's probably scheduled for this afternoon.
It was actually pretty funny. It's entirely possible that I curbed it (as I did with Van Morrison not too terribly long ago. I didn't hear the tire pop at first because I was listening to David Allen Coe's "You Never Even Called Me by My Name." There may have been singing.
I had the foresight to pull over right in front of a TIRE SHOP.
I wasn't even late for my appointment because DH picked me up and took me.
Needless to say, I've go a pretty thick silver lining going on.
Definitely a sucktastic morning, Cash.

Shingles has a pretty characteristic rash pattern. You don't have to be stressed; the chicken pox virus was just in your blood, waiting to get you. It sometimes just means a couple of itchy days.

Heh. Possibly Juliana's favorite country song. It's up there.
