Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

In procrastinating news, guess what amazon.com just suggested for me? Bad Boys in Kilts.

Can't. Stop. Giggling.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

GC, yours has zee bangs, there's the difference, I think... plus you look totally HOTT. vw, you are also looking gawgeous.

Tom looks great with a beard!

I know, right??? He's my lumberjack. A few of my friends have been all, heeeeeyyyy, to Tom because of the beard.

Holy crap. What a nice but weird night. I can't believe the nOg is closing soon. That place has been such a touchtone for my entire adult life. I came of age there (metaphorically).

ps, also, thanks for all the nice words about the haircut. It means a lot to me in my sorry-ass state. (though I'm doing OK today, I think mostly because of The New Look!)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Everyone looks so good in their new hair! I wish I could wear short hair. Well, no, I like mine long, but still... so cute!

Our wings are not tired.

Since we last visited,,, (yes, for Teppy)

Bobby's baseball team came back from 1-5 to win 6-5. Whee! Very exciting first game.

Game started at noon. Laura sunburned.

After game met GF and went to spa for her to get massage and me to get facial. Short version, heaven.

After spa we walked downtown for drinks, lots of drinks. (such a long time to type this so far with all the backspace stuff)

Then drove to get fast food for her son and to drop $ to my son at church fair thing with other people.

Then we drank more stuff at her house! Only a few blocks from my house so I actually drove home.

Son wasn't home so I walked the dog around the block to see if people he was with were home.

They were so instead of stopping to see them I decided to take shortcut home through construction area and fell and scaped knees, hand, ya know.

Called son, he wants to stay overnight. ok.

DH and other son should be home from state basketball finals in about an hour. The guys we wanted to win won.

I'm going to take a shower now. Because drunk, knees have construction grit, still sweaty from mid day baseball game (it was like 80ish and full sun!), and then the oils from the spa thing.

Oh yeah, the facial was so wonderful. An hour long thing with awesome scalp massage and arm and hand massage in between various face stuff. So hair full of oils, and wow.

Also, I guess at least twice as many keystokes as final post because of the backspace thing because of my thing about spelling. And really, if I didn't get them all. I did the best I could.

Our wings are not tired.

I forgot what I wanted to post about! I had decided that I liked my longer hair and didn't want to get it cut. Then I saw the pictures and the sexy hot beauty of Nora, vw, and GC has made me rethink this. Yowza!

Really, have to shower now. Then maybe ice the ouchies.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

"That's what comes from living in a small town where the only entertainment was boozing & roleplaying games."

Oooh! That reminds me...any of you folks playing World of Warcraft? My only fellow geek at work (we get to bond over comics and BSG and Smallville) is VERY sucked into it. Bless him.

Sorry to hear about the Dessert Disaster. (...and now I want dessert. Damn.)

Still on a small island off the coast of Thailand, btw. Weather lovely. I am still wearing 70% more clothes than everyone else on the island and intend to continue in this manner for the foreseeable future.

LOVED the short hair pics. Must get over to a hairdresser asap.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I forgot to go to synagogue again today. I really have too short of an attention span to be religious.

I can read the Book of Esther by myself and feel like I've taken care of that obligation. But now that I remembered it's Purim, I really want hamentaschen. t pouts at lack of hamentaschen

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yay! And DJ has a recent cut and color too, I think.

I do. It's a lovely red that my hairdresser friend mixed. Coppery and dark. I think (I was drunk) I said I felt like I had a garnet on my head.

So. I'm officially done. I'm out. Finished. Got home from the party to a voice message from L. A friend of ours from home died of complications from AIDS.

Want to spend the rest of March in bed.
