Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Had to stay late because of jackholes.

Boy, your office sure doesn't make it easy for working people, do they?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Seriously, WTF is wrong with people this week?
I don't know. I never know.

Just know that I sometimes loathe the Other People.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh! Hec! I'm chopping all my hair off this weekend!

Excellent! But in a positive, healthy fashion forward way, right? Not in a Britney, self-mutilation, I'm-dodging-drug-testing way?

It's the thing to do. After cutting mine too short last time, I cut it shorter a few days ago. I never learn.

Learn what? Your awesomeness? I vote I love it.

I also vote that sj is ready for a change, and that GC is ready to maintain the status quo.

::checks agenda::

Yep, I'm good.

::laughs bitterly into her..::

Oh that's right, I don't have a drink.

There were two people who came in an hour late, 30 minutes before close, because they went to the wrong office. Still expected to be seen. Couldn't be because the office closes at 7:30, and one coworker has a father who just had a heart attack so she has to get home to take over for the nurse, the other has a small child, the third- well he's already seen 6 people because someone else demanded to be squeezed in.

I'm sorry you didn't listen to the part where there are two seperate organizations, and I'm sorry you didn't read the sign. I'm sorry you didn't pay enough attention to your surroundings to realize the people where you were were doing something different than you were, and I'm really sorry that you didn't ask someone if that was where you were supposed to be, particularly after waiting for an hour.

However, I have 2 dogs that need walking, a house that needs cleaning, clothes that need washing and I'd like to get around to VM and be in bed at a decent hour so I can get up at 7 so I can do this all over again tomorrow.

I've learned that having short hair means product. Which seems to lead to good hair. But still, I have to primp. It's skeery.

Still? Good hair.

I'm going to have to insist on pictures.

But primping is good! Primping is fun! (Do you want me to bring the sparkly black tiara for you to wear to the Gothy Event?)

Welcome back, vw! I hope you sleep well.

Daisy Jane, I'm sorry your day was wretched.

My day was hectic (with news of More Work Looming At Us, which means there may be a change of some very nebulous plans at House O' Reason, and I bet I could be even more vague if I tried really hard), and tomorrow is looking to be just as hectic.

And I need to trim the ends of my hair. I wonder if I should attempt this myself, or if it would lead to tears and squinchy faces.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Tears and squinchies. You *are* trained, but it's still Your Hair, and thus hard to trim solo.

sigh

You're probably right. But I don't know when I'll be able to make an appointment anywhere, and it's not a very big trim that's needed ... okay, I know. Putting my hair in a ponytail and lopping off a few inches is not what I should do. I know. Stop looking at me like that.
