Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

No, it was a customer. All of my coworkers-including my boss who just sent me on a smoke break-were equally offended.

ETA: They don't have to pay for our services either.

Now tagless for your comfort.

If a place wasn't open for an appointment when I got off work, I'd schedule during the work day and try to juggle my schedule. As it is, I can't get appointments during the day, either (and I don't work). Yeah, that customer's comment was just rude. He/she should not assume his/her time is any more valuable than anyone else's.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

And see, if she didn't have to have it next week, she could have one at 5 or 6 or even 6:30. But those go fast because everybody wants to not have to take off work.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I have a very open schedual - and I have had for years. I actually try and avoid a lot of the afterwork /late afternoon hours so people with 9-5 type work can use them. I will take early morning if it invovles the doctor. Just because things can get frelled up pretty quickly. anyway, I have complained about places that were only open 9-5- but in 95% of those cases there is a way around them. and that doesn't even fit this senerio.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Teppy, in your resignation letter (if you haven't already sent it off) you might want to add that articles are ungrammatical and give an impression of poorly educated writers, as well as not making sense.

And, yeah, I know exactly what you mean. One time in a staff meeting (this is my job and they do actually pay me ... sort of) someone said "but let's get a REAL graphics person" rather than having me do something. Yup ... respect.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh, my GOD. I'm SO annoyed right now. (w/f for dumbass coochie problems) so I have my Pap on Friday, and afterward, things don't feel quite right. I tell myself that it was just one of those things in the obtaining of cells. Maybe a scratch or summat. NOW, of course, I have a full scale itchy assault going on! I got some of that goddamn itching and burning cream, which has relieved the itch by causing a BURN AND I go to leave a message for my doctor to explain the problem in explicit detail so I don't have to go into it in the very public space of my office, and I can't even do that.

FUCKERTY FUCK FUCK. This is so hurty/itchy/painful. Has anyone else ever gotten some sort of itchy infection from a Pap? I don't think it's a yeast infection, I don't have any of the other symptoms (discharge, odor, etc.)
