What is even happening?

tiggy, that's what the pharmacist said when my mother picked up the Afrin, over the weekend. And my doctor said so yesterday, too. I used the prescription spray last night. It wasn't so bad. I'll be using the Afrin in the day, today, because I can only use the prescription once a day.

Oh and?...

Now, Julia's sick. She woke up at 2:30 with a temperature of 103. Scott gave her Motrin. This morning, her temperature is 101.something. I gave her Tylenol, but given how little it did for her brothers, I'm trying to get some food in her tummy, so I can give her Motrin.

Also? I quit.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Snow's coming down pretty good in my neighborhood.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Looks like we've got some snow now. But I swear there wasn't any five minutes ago. (Or perhaps my need for a new contacts prescription is worse than I'd thought.)

Because books.

Also? I quit.

Oh, baby. Is she a snuggler? Can you curl up with her on the sofa, or even in your bed, and just watch some TV today?

I wish I was there so I could help. I also wish I was there because, as far as I know, you don't have seventy gajillion feet of snow, with TWO MORE predicted tonight.

I think I quit, too.

What is even happening?

We have the remnants of the last dusting of snow in our yard. We haven't had one proper snow, all winter. We're supposed to get it tonight, but then it's supposed to be topped off with an ice storm, so if you want to get here, get here now, and bring Motrin. I do have the better part of a chocolate cake left. I'm just saying.

She's kind of big to snuggle on the sofa with (size wise -- she's very tall for 8 years old). She's snuggled down on the couch, though, and she's pretty easy. I'm just keeping an eyebrow raised at her, because she's had a couple of stomach complaints. We have plans to watch a movie later, after she's had her full of kid TV.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Well...FUCK.

I also wish I was there because, as far as I know, you don't have seventy gajillion feet of snow, with TWO MORE predicted tonight.

Also...FUCK.

Owen woke up at FOUR FUCKING O'CLOCK this morning with "Wanna go downstairs & play."

FUCK.

This post brought to you by the all-purpose swear word.

We've had four chocolate donuts, chocolate milk and I've had half a pot of coffee.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Analysis: tea with honey does not taste good. But it is throat-soothing.

Four o'clock in the morning? Oy.

Cashmere is Owen sick, or just having some wonky sleep patterns?

Wonky sleep stuff. He wakes up every once in a great while at odd times and doesn't put himself back to sleep. It's rare enough but really annoying when he's WIDE AWAKE instead of willing to be put back to bed.

And that's putting it mildly.

I so need one of those bottles of Fuckitol Jessica linked to the other day.
