Ah, Bev. Bleh.
yep. and jagermeister is close, but the herbs are stronger in fernet
Also, Fernet is Not Sweet.
Mmm. Fernet.
Seriously, I can't imagine slamming it. I like the taste too much for that.
Jayne ,'Jaynestown'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I just wiki-ed Fernet. I thought it was similar to Absinthe but it really seems more like Jägermeister.
Much closer to ASS, actually.
t /Fernet unbeliever
Must be an acquired taste?
Ugh. But then, I don't like Jäger, either, so that probably plays a part.
sits with Steph
I guess I like ass then.
I'm in the corner with Teppy. I am suspect of Fernet. Any comparisons to Jägermeister is NOT helping the case.
I'm not really a fan of Fernet, mostly because it tastes strongly of anise, which I hate. Which also makes me hate jagermeister.
I like both Jager and Chartreuse. Both of which, in my head, I know taste like ass. In fact, I have been known to describe the latter as "grass clippings that have sat in a garbage bag after a rain and gone bad."
I imagine fernet to taste like a cross between those two. And, it sounds yummy.
I like beer. And mojitos.
And Tony the bartender.
I like beer. And mojitos.
I like pina coladas.
But I hate getting caught in the rain.
I really dislike the taste of anise. So much so that I have wiped my tounge with my t-shirt after a shot of Sambuca or drinking absinthe. Jager tastes like NyQuil, not anise.
