Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Do I get a vote?

The status is NOT quo.

Who was it that said, "Why are you so stupid, stupid day?" I remember that post within the last two weeks, and it's really resonating with me right now. And making me smile, which is nice.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Kristin, I think it was Nora

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lee, I vote keep it long, and go to red/auburn.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got a very firm "Avoid contact sports and gymnastics" warning, which I largely ignored.

Ha!

I'm already up on pain meds and muscle strengthening (though I wonder if kettlebell's fixed my shoulders--I used to be really weak at the edges of my range of motion). So no biggie if I am EDS or not.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

GAH. Went from the EDS site to a keloid site and HMOG, I need to remember that I have a medical squick and not Google anything that might trip that. Oy.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Kristin? I have my M.A. in English and my M.Ed., and lemme tell you, the M.Eng is SO much more fun and interesting. Also, harder, but better (as so many things are...and that's my nod to Hec's WoBath brow waggle in my direction.)

Also, Oxford is SO COOL. I got to do Woolf research at the Bodleian when I spent a semester in London, and it was so fucking much of a bibliogasm. And they have the most amazing Brie and garlic and turkey sandwiches in the market there!!

Our wings are not tired.

Jess, totally agreed with what's said upthread--YAY! and also that if you and E agree on the middle, then that's that!

I hope any surgery being performed to make girly parts less painful is very, very successful. So sorry it's come to that, though.

Anyone else go through a phase when the names "Bigwig", "Fiver" and "Hazel" seemed perfectly acceptable for kids' names? No? Just me...?

SO excited about Kristin's English programme. Yay for her having to study along with the rest of us...

ETA:

And they have the most amazing Brie and garlic and turkey sandwiches in the market there!!

And not to mention the world's best library giftstore.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Anyone else go through a phase when the names "Bigwig", "Fiver" and "Hazel" seemed perfectly acceptable for kids' names? No? Just me...?

Now that's just crazy talk -- those are nicknames! (Thlayli and Hrairoo, on the other hand...)

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm really excited about the possibility of this grad school experience.

I was so excited when I saw Breadloaf, because we have Breadloaf here in Juneau, but alas, apparently ours is not one of the campuses for the degree. I guess we're special. pouts.

Don't go to netanatomy.com, ita. I thought it was going to have drawings or something. May plastic models. I was so, very wrong, and now understand that there was more to me deciding not to be a pediatrician than not being great at math or science.
