It may not be pleasurable the way a wand with a condom ought to be, but it is delightfully less uncomfortable than a speculum. As an exam tool, I'd take the dildocam over the speculum, or even the doctor's hand (most painful prt of childbirth? the "digital" dilation check, that bastard), any day of the week.
Yeah, I've had these before (Oh, the joy of being a DES daughter!) and much prefer tour firned the dildocam to a speculum. Plus the tech is usually great about pointing things out so you can see what's going on the geeky part of me likes that stuff.
