Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've set up a list. Jen, you're the owner. I haven't poked into the functionality (ezmlm) in depth, but here are the basic commands:

Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the somervillains@buffistas.org mailing list.

I'm working for my owner, who can be reached at somervillains-owner@buffistas.org.

This is a generic help message. The message I received wasn't sent to any of my command addresses.

Here is a list of the command addresses supported:

Send mail to the following for info and FAQ for this list:

  • <somervillains-info@buffistas.org>
  • <somervillains-faq@buffistas.org>

Similar addresses exist for the digest list:

  • <somervillains-digest-subscribe@buffistas.org>
  • <somervillains-digest-unsubscribe@buffistas.org>

To get messages 123 through 145 (a maximum of 100 per request), mail:

  • <somervillains-get.123_145@buffistas.org>

To get an index with subject and author for messages 123-456, mail:

  • <somervillains-index.123_456@buffistas.org>

To receive all messages with the same subject as message 12345, send an empty message to:

  • <somervillains-thread.12345@buffistas.org>

The messages do not really need to be empty, but I will ignore their content. Only the ADDRESS you send to is important.

You can start a subscription for an alternate address, for example "john@host.domain", just add a hyphen and your address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word:

  • <somervillains-subscribe-john=host.domain@buffistas.org>

To stop subscription for this address, mail:

  • <somervillains-unsubscribe-john=host.domain@buffistas.org>

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You know, I now remember how I knew that we had mailing list capabilities. It's because I use the admins mailing list. Duh!!!

Is it the weekend yet?

Nobody

Fred, Shawn - I heard back from the bronzer attorney. She did some poking and says that it usually boils down to libel, so I either heard it from someone else originally, or made the whole damned thing up. Sorry for the confusion.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Changing my vote. Buffy 2: Hey, I've Died Twice.

But shouldn't that be for Buffy 3?

Stop being all logical and stuff!

Well, that's originally why I put it as "Hey she's died twice" - but I still think the "I've" is better.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why does that need to be for the third thread, again? I thought it was being selected on the virtue of us having died twice, and it referring to the number two to boot.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Because Buffy herself is now Buffy Mark Three. But I can see it being the source of confusion.

Yeah. I think that's more confusion than it's worth, using it for #3. It's not like we've been terribly meaningful with all the numbers (Angel 8 His Father, Mother, Sister, and Entire Village, anyone?).

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Eight = "Ate"! It's a very dumb joke, but it's meaningful.
