Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I thought the whole idea of the Buffistas is that we're all cool kids! Okay, cool kids who post for hours on a Friday night, and then turn off the computer and read a comic book before going to bed by 11:30, but, you know, somebody out there's definition of cool.

Hell yeah.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Chex:

ita, do you think it's an ambiguity of the formal Stompy duties that makes you feel vacuous? Like, how many posts do you need, or whether you need unanimity, or some kind of minimum complainant turnout for you to feel empowered to act Stompily?

That's sort of a side issue from what we've been talking about, but I've had it in the back of my mind for a while to bring up. At some future date, when other things weren't all happening at once.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Victor -- we need to move the users to the read-only box.

Except WX is being a bitch again.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Yeah, that was basically my conclusion.

Phoenix's first FAQ addition suggestion:

From Press, now deleted, from Vortex (the artist formerly known as Stephanie Johnson), Rebecca Lizard and me:

Q. What's the difference between Sunnydale Press and Beep Me, the two announcement threads?

A. Sunnydale is for general announcements that everybody needs to read--what would have made its rounds through every thread in the past. Beep Me is personal life announcements- cheat sheet, in a way, for those who don't keep up with Natter and still want to know what's going on in Buffistas' lives.

(Press is for when you're having a book signing and when you want everybody to come. Apocalypse is for when you get the book contract and you want to crow about your good fortune.)

Phoenix's second FAQ addition suggestion, from folks I forgot to make note of:

Q. Everybody's talking about their user ID numbers. How do I find mine?

A. Click on your username, and look at the number at the end of the URL it brings up. Or just do a mouse-over.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Since it's unfinished from WX, just thought I'd mention that Bugaloo still has the lights on. ita's "check it out" post isn't at the end. FYI.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Got it, Beverly, thanks.

You didn't see a posting box, did you?
