OK, how about this? Continue discussion through the end of tomorrow, then have voting open through Sunday. (All times are Board times.)

We've announced the start of voting, so I don't think we should change that. I think we should extend voting until Sunday Night (midnight monday?)
I'm actually not all that comfortable with just us changing the text two hours before we want people to start voting, but I can tell I'm turning into a freak about this.
Well, the only reason I wanted to change the text was that some people said it was confusing. I was hping someone would revise it before, but I couldn't find anything, just Cindy wanting to take it out, and ita wanting it revised.

Yeah, you're right. OK then. Also I think we should talk about 11:59 or 12:01, because I can never remember if "midnight Monday" is the beginning of Monday or the end.
That sounded snotty, Jesse. I'm sorry. I was actually hoping some more people will be around before midnight to weight in, especially ita, since she thought it was confusing.
I personally am fine with postponing the vote for a day but a) what I said above re:already annoucing it and b) I felt like I made a promise I would pst, so I would want more people wanting to wait than just us!
No, I know just what you're saying, Sophia! I have to go to bed, though. So I dunno what to do.
Well, unless more people weigh in I am going to post as is. I will note at the top that we MAY extend the voting period if people are rushed. I will note that peoples issues will be heard in bureaucracy as well.
OK - a question on Item 4. I think seven days total is enough. But I don't think discussion should be closed once voting starts. In other words all seven days should be discussion, though obviously once voting starts the text can't change. So given the wording - do I vote yes or no on Item 4? Because it looks like if 4 wins, discussion is closed once voting starts.
Good one, good one! I think I hate having to mush together a pseudo-process to decide the damn process.
I will just note that this is a very odd definition of a seven days. We did not start formal discussion until Monday. Voting will close Friday (or is it Saturday). I have trouble getting seven days out of this.
I'm fine with extending the voting period, but I'd note that the vote to decide how to vote doesn't have to work the way item 4 says. Because we haven't yet decided that's how we want to do things. ;)
My automated email ballot is looking good, by the way. I should be able to show you folks something soon.
