Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Done.

I liked it, because it makes me think of Good Omens.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

Oh, now I get it. I was confused by the Plei post at WX talking about Schmoker's nice new name.

Of course, I was skimming.

Of course, now I feel stupid.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, on the real, does anyone object to voting on Cindy's proposal, starting at midnight?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm all for the voting.

What form will the votes be in? I get that we're doing it via email, but will there be a web page to send mail from, or will it just be standard email? (Sorry if I sound daft -- I'm not great on technology.) And will we ask people send in their votes in a standard format to ease tallying?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm with Dana in the "I'm out of town now, why?"

- First, I oppose 3/4 day span. I will always be out of town for a full week, once a month, every month. But that's just me. If the consensus is consensed, I'll go with the flow.

- Second, I'm very sorry that we are in this discussion, that people have serious problems with the way things have run in the past, and that we're formalizing. I had felt very pleased with the consensus (consensi?) we'd appeared to have come to in the past, and I apologize personally to those who felt inadequately represented in the past, or who were unhappy with the decisions that were put in place. I'm really disappointed that consensus didn't work. I'm disappointed that consensus cannot continue to work.

- Lastly, good luck, and will someone please email me at my profile addy when a vote is being taken, because I find it unlikely that I will be able to keep up with this debate from the road.

We will send an email to votes@buffistas.org, which will forward to jengod, who will tally them.

Right, I got that. What I was asking was if we're setting up a web page like the one you reach if you click email admins. It sounds like not, but I wanted to check.

At this point, no. We're just sending regular old emails. And I don't know if jen's around, or how much she cares about how we format these emails.
