"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

All,

thank you for the 'ma. I'm going to release it for now. Visit is done. I am worn out. My luggage is somewhere unknown, but I had a great visit.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I announced this in Bitches and then it didn't seem like a good time to post it in Beep Me, but: I got a job! And I have a couple lines on side jobs to up my income a bit, since new job is going to start me out really low. I'm excited, though a bit sad that my downtime is over. Ah well.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My first geeky book review video is up! Yep, you can see me flail and squee in the office where I do all my communicatorin' with y'all.

And maybe you'll get het up to read something I recommend. Different genres covered. Feel free to share the vid anywhere! (Just don't mention B.org. Y'all are my Fortress of Solitude...well, you get what I mean.)

Feedback welcome; I'm a vid noob. [link]

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Thanks for the 'ma people. Apparently I have a job offer. I just met with the person who is my would-be new boss and they are coming after me.

I need (desperately) some sanity 'ma. If I leave, people at my current work are going to be awful for a period of time. If I don't leave, I think I'm going to regret this decisions for the rest of my life.

Wow. I didn't know how I felt about it until I typed it out in black and white! More in Natter.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Requesting house~ma for the inspection that's happening today on our old place in Salem. We really need this to move forward quickly, so I am requesting the awesome power of Buffista ~ma to get us through! Thanks.

Our wings are not tired.

May we please have some Mom~ma headed this way this morning? My mother is having an epidural procedure done on her neck this morning. She has pretty severe spinal degeneration and herniated disks, but at 90 there are not a lot of options. If the epidural doesn't work she will be on serious pain killers the rest of her days. Her mind is sharper than mine and she hates taking pain killers because of the side effects. All procedures are more complicated at her age. I appreciate all good thoughts and prayers that may be directed at Mary in Bonita Springs. Thank you.

Our wings are not tired.

Some calm~ma would be helpful. Having my foot surgery this morning. I'm not so much nervous about the procedure itself, but my body seems to choose these times to bring on the nausea. I plan to explain this to the anesthesiologist so they prep me appropriately.

My Tom Waits bus tour from this weekend got a really nice write-up in the Guardian.
